Background

The Nestlé subsidiary Skin Health has decided to close the Galderma Switzerland factory in Egerkingen, Solothurn, and relocate production abroad.

Equipment highlights

This included equipment for filling, sealing, and packaging liquids, pastes, creams, and ointments such as IWK tube filling lines, PESTER PEWO packaging lines, KILIAN tablet presses, and many other assets.

Transaction

Skin Health was looking for a buyer who would take over the entire production inventory as well as the production buildings. Together with a partner, PIPM was awarded the contract to purchase the building and inventory.

Procedure

From our warehouse, we put the assets back on the market and sold them successfully.

Result

The assets were dismantled in a very short period of time (at the request of the owner) and the site was left broom clean.
