Bosch Rexroth

Background

The plant of Bosch Rexroth in Stockholm manufactured hydraulic cylinders for industrial applications for the European market. The cylinders are used mainly in machine tooling or in machines for heavy industry. The company decided to close down the production facility in Stockholm, this in order to have competitive production also in the future. Bosch took the decision to merge all production of hydraulic cylinders for the European market in Germany.

Transaction

PIPM acquired all the assets of the company with an obligation to leave the factory swept and broom clean to its new owner which was succeeded in March.

Procedure

PIPM using its very extensive international network of buyers, intelligent remarketing tools within this sector and network of dismantling and international transport partners, sold all the assets within a short term and respected the tight timeframes set by the insolvency administration and the owner of the real estate.

Result

The property was handed back completely empty and broom clean to full satisfaction of all parties involved.
