Background

This well-known manufacturer of bakery equipment with 60 employees went bankrupt. The 20,000 m2 factory in Laon, Northern France, was abandoned.

Equipment highlights

It was a sheet metal processing plant with more than 20 press brakes, cutting machines, punching machines, grinding machines, welding robots, silicone and Teflon coating lines.

Transaction

PIPM bought all the machines from the court.

Procedure

PIPM using its very extensive international network of buyers, intelligent remarketing tools within this sector and network of dismantling and international transport partners, sold more than 700 assets within 6 months.

The facility was handed over empty, swept and clean to the property owner.
