Background

Flow Control Technologies (FCT) was renowned for its expertise in manufacturing industrial valves. Its production site, located in Saint-Juéry, was a comprehensive and high-performance industrial facility.

Equipment highlights

The factory housed high value-added machines: a FOREST-LINE FLEXIAX 410 CNC machining center (2010) with tool loader, a DOOSAN PUMA 480LM horizontal lathe (2008), a RAIS M800 vertical lathe, several H.ERNAULT SOMUA CHOLET 550 horizontal lathes, a TADU FS-750 facing lathe, and a LAPMASTER LBVS700 lapping machine (2021). This recent and varied equipment attracted considerable interest on the secondary market.

Transaction

Following a judicial liquidation, PIPM acquired all of FCT’s industrial assets. This operation secured the rapid valuation of a complete and attractive machine park.

Procedure

Leveraging its global network of buyers and its expertise in remarketing, PIPM orchestrated each stage of the process: valuation, safe dismantling, transport, resale, and final cleaning. Thanks to its trusted partners in logistics and dismantling, the entire project was carried out smoothly and within a short timeframe.

Result

The site was completely cleared, cleaned, and restored within the planned six-month timeframe. The equipment found a new home overseas, and the mission was accomplished to the complete satisfaction of all stakeholders.
