Itron

Background

In November, PIPM acquired the equipment from the Chasseneuil-du-Poitou site, previously owned by Itron France. Itron designs and manufactures advanced technological solutions for energy management, public infrastructure and smart metering services across various sectors, including energy, water, and gas, notably with electric meters like “Linky.”

Equipment highlights

Approx. 800 lots including; SIEPEL – Semi-anechoic chamber, OMICRON CMC 256 plus – High-precision relay testing equipment and universal calibrator, OMICRON CMC 256-6 – High-precision relay testing equipment and universal calibrator,  MILMEGA 80-1000MHz, 80RF 1000-250 – Amplifier.

Transaction

Itron issued a call for tenders to take over the equipment, to which PIPM responded with an offer that was accepted by Itron. Itron required that the equipment be removed quickly and safely, a condition that PIPM fully met in managing the project.

Procedure

Thanks to its international network of buyers, intelligent remarketing tools in this sector and it’s network of dismantling and international transport partners, PIPM successfully sold all the assets within a very short period.

Result

PIPM had approximately 3 months to complete the project and leave the facility completely cleared. Itron expressed great satisfaction with the work completed by PIPM and its partners.
