Mars – Wrigley
Background
The Biesheim site, operated by Mars-Wrigley, had been dedicated to chewing gum manufacturing for many years. This production unit represented recognized expertise in the confectionery industry.
Equipment highlights
The factory housed a complete and modern range of machinery: Ishida X-ray scanners, Fanuc palletizing robots, IMA cartoning/palletizing machines, as well as several high-performance packaging lines. All of this sought-after equipment quickly found buyers thanks to our network.
Transaction
As part of a strategic reorganization, Mars-Wrigley entrusted PIPM with the valuation of its equipment. Our proposal, combining responsiveness and market expertise, was selected following a call for tenders launched by the group.
Procedure
Thanks to a proven methodology and meticulous organization, PIPM completed the operation in a record time of four months. More than a hundred lots were sold and redeployed around the world, giving each piece of equipment a second life.
Result
The site was completely cleared, cleaned, and restored, ready for new use. Mars-Wrigley was thus able to complete its project with peace of mind, relying on a trusted partner capable of combining efficiency and added value.
