Nestlé – Itancourt

Background

This subsidiary of Nestlé decided to close their plant located in Itancourt (North of France) which employed more than 200 people. The facility manufactured cube broths and dehydrated soup, consisting of various production and packaging lines.

Equipment highlights

The assets included food processing equipment such as mixers and tanks as well as control (metal detectors) and packaging equipment (weighing scales, film wrappers, racks).

Transaction

PIPM purchased all available equipment from the multinational company.

Procedure

Around 260 assets were sold worldwide by PIPM.

Result

In less than five months, the facility was handed over empty, swept and cleaned for the property owner.
