Seco Tools

Background

The company SECO Tools took the decision to close down the factory in Arboga, Sweden. SECO Tools is one of the world´s largest manufacturers of cutting tools and has operations all over the globe. The factory in Arboga was the company´s main production facility for steel bodies for indexable tools.

Transaction

The management of SECO were searching for a partner that could offer all-in-one solution whereas taking over all the assets at market value and to empty and clean the property in a short period of time. The project was handled within the time frame and the property was handed back empty.

Procedure

With the help of our extensive and broad global network of buyers, PIPM remarketed all the assets throughout the world, from Australia to Portugal within a period of 4 months.

The production facility was handed back completely empty and clean 4 months after the contract was signed, to satisfied property owners that were happy that the deadline was met.
