Solex Thermal Science

Background

Solex Thermal Science (Netherlands) B.V., formerly Mosman Stainless Steel, operated a manufacturing facility in Haaksbergen, the Netherlands, specialising in stainless steel fabrication and heat exchange solutions.

Following the company’s bankruptcy, PIPM acquired all movable assets from the facility, providing a direct and comprehensive solution for the machinery, equipment, stock and inventory.

Equipment highlights

The assets comprised a high-quality selection of metalworking and sheet metal processing machinery, including SIEGMUND welding and clamping tables, SAFAN press brakes and guillotine shears, a MOSMAN YLS-3000 3 kW laser welding machine and various FRONIUS and REHM welding machines.

Additional assets included BOMAR, URSUS and ELHA equipment, rolling stock, technical equipment, sheet metal and materials, workshop inventory and modern office furniture.

Procedure

By acquiring all movable assets directly, PIPM provided the asset owner with immediate financial certainty and a fast transfer of the agreed purchase price.

The assets were subsequently offered internationally, while collection and removal were coordinated to ensure an efficient and timely clearance of the facility.

Result

Through close cooperation with all stakeholders, the facility was cleared ahead of schedule and the property was handed back to the real estate owner earlier than originally planned.

The project demonstrates PIPM’s ability to manage industrial projects from direct acquisition and international remarketing through to complete site clearance and final handover.
