Background

The Royal Mint is the world’s largest and most technically advanced coin factory. Located in Llantrisant, South Wales, it produces more than 3.3 billion coins and mint plates annually for more than 30 countries.

These included heavy Swarf, Nederman, Birlec, Powermelt casting lines for coins and medals.

Transaction

Due to changes in its production facility, PIPM purchased the assets, consisting of metalworking machinery for the production of coins.

Procedure

PIPM using its very extensive international network of buyers, intelligent remarketing tools within this sector and network of dismantling and international transport partners, sold all the assets within a short term and respected the tight timeframes set by the insolvency administration and the owner of the real estate.

Result

The property was handed back completely empty and broom clean to full satisfaction of all parties involved.
