The Royal Mint
The Royal Mint is the world’s largest and most technically advanced coin factory. Located in Llantrisant, South Wales, it produces more than 3.3 billion coins and mint plates annually for more than 30 countries. Due to changes in its production facility, PIPM purchased the assets, consisting of metalworking machinery for the production of coins. These included heavy Swarf, Nederman, Birlec, Powermelt casting lines for coins and medals.
