In the north-east of Italy, the most prestigious construction companies for public works and roads suddenly went bankrupt. As a result, both the receiver and the leasing company, which owned the company’s equipment, organised a public tender. The main players on the second-hand market for earthmoving equipment took part. PIPM managed to outbid its competitors in both the bankruptcy sale and the sale by the leasing company. This way, we managed to get hold of a batch of very late machines that had enormous appeal on the second-hand market.
The machines consisted mainly of earthmoving machines, drill rigs, and rolling stock of the most famous international brands (including Caterpillar, New Holland, Bobcat, Volvo, Komatsu, Ammann, JCB, Manitou, Terex, Casagrande, Bauer, Hamm, Voegele, Wirtgen, etc.).
PIPM rented an empty factory to provide the best possible showcase for this kind of equipment and to set up a successful online resale. This resulted in a fierce competition to get the handsome stuff. It has undoubtedly become the leading sales event for earthmoving machines!
