Fabriek van Diastatische Producten
Background
The Factory of Diastatic Products was founded in 1936 and has been located at Rijndijk 156-158 in Leiden since 1938. The factory was specialized in producing malt extract in dry or liquid form. Customers were suppliers of bakery products and confectionery manufacturers, who use it as a coloring agent or flavor enhancer.
Equipment highlights
The assets include complete brewing installations, atomization installations, malt receiving and processing installation, complete horizontal steam boiler installation (EUROSTEAMER / CALDAIE), laboratory equipment and other company and office inventory.
Transaction
After the factory went bankrupt, PIPM bought all the assets and a developer bought the real estate.
Procedure
PIPM using its very extensive international network of buyers, intelligent remarketing tools and network of dismantling and international transport partners, sold all the assets within a short term and respected the tight timeframes.
Result
In good consultation with the curator and property owner, the location was delivered empty as agreed. The buildings will be demolished and homes and/or apartments will be developed on the site.
