Background

The Neuchâtel bankruptcy office sought a buyer for the bankruptcy inventory of ArtraM SA.

Equipment highlights

On the one hand, three large systems (press, laser cutter, sheet metal bending machine) were for sale, which were leased. On the other hand, there was a large quantity of sheet metal processing machines and accessories.

Transaction

PIPM Switzerland acquired the entire inventory of the bankrupt Artram SA in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The two largest machines (fibre laser machine and press brake) were part of a leasing agreement. PIPM Switzerland also agreed with the leasing bank on a purchase price and bought these two machines in addition.

Procedure

The entire inventory with over 500 items was disposed of within only two months.

Result

Thanks to the good cooperation with a local dismantling company and an international recycler, the empty and cleaned production premises were handed over to the property owner within a very short time.

All parties involved were extremely satisfied that the whole process from purchase to handover of the clean premises went so smoothly.
